About
About Viziblty: the proof-over-promises SEO company
We started Viziblty because local owners kept getting sold SEO they couldn't verify: ranking screenshots, jargon reports, twelve-month contracts. Our answer is structural: published pricing, a free audit anyone can run, and monthly reporting from your own analytics accounts.
Who is behind Viziblty?
Three founders in the Ottawa-Gatineau region. Alex leads strategy and client work; Nico leads product and the reporting dashboard; Josh leads the data side, connecting the analytics sources our reports are built from. Small team, senior only, no account-manager layer.
Alex founded Viziblty and runs strategy and client work. If you become a client, Alex is the person who audits your market, writes your plan, and answers for the results in your monthly report. Everything this company does in public (published pricing, a free audit anyone can run, reporting pulled from accounts you own) is his answer to how SEO usually gets sold to local businesses. You can check who he is before you ever talk to us on LinkedIn.
Nico is a co-founder and leads product, including the reporting dashboard where clients watch their visibility change month over month.
Josh is a co-founder and leads data. He connects the Google Analytics, Search Console, and Bing Webmaster Tools sources that every client report is built from, so the numbers you see come straight from your own accounts.
That structure is deliberate. Nothing is handed down a chain, which is why nothing gets lost in one.
Why should you believe an SEO company?
You shouldn't. Not on words. Burson's research across 55,000 believability scores found fact-based claims are what audiences find credible, while polished leadership messaging ranked least believable in every industry studied (Burson). So we structured the company around verifiable facts instead.
Concretely: our prices are public, so you never wonder what the last client paid. Our audit is free and automated, so the first thing we ever tell you about your site is checkable. Our reports come from your own Google and Bing accounts: data we cannot edit. And this website practices every tactic we sell, so you can inspect the product before buying it: view the source, check the schema, ask ChatGPT about us. "Visibility is not credibility" is the study's phrase; building for the second one is the whole company.
What do we actually believe about SEO?
Four things: Google and AI search are one battlefield, not two services. Proof beats promises: if it isn't in your data, it didn't happen. Local beats generic: a business that clearly serves its city outranks vague national copy. And honesty is a strategy, not a virtue signal: engines increasingly reward exactly what customers do.
| Principle | What you experience |
|---|---|
| One battlefield | Every deliverable works for Google rankings and AI citations at once |
| Proof over promises | Monthly reports from your own analytics, never our screenshots |
| Local first | Strategy built for Ottawa and Gatineau, not a franchise template |
| No fabricated proof | No fake testimonials or invented case studies, here or on your site |
Why focus on Ottawa and Gatineau?
Because local SEO is won with local knowledge, and this is where ours is real. We know which neighbourhoods generate which searches, why bilingual visibility matters east of downtown, and what the cross-river market ignores. Focus also keeps us accountable: our reputation lives where our clients do.
The bilingual point is personal too: we write French natively, the same way we would for a client, never machine-translated, because half-hearted French is visible from across the room in this region.
How do we work with new clients?
Value first, contract later. You run the free audit, we send a plain-language read of the results, and the first call scopes whether SEO is even your best next dollar. If it is, pricing is already public: the conversation is about scope, not about squeezing you.
And if what you need first is a website rather than a campaign, we do one-off builds with no retainer attached. Some of our best client relationships started with us saying "you don't need the monthly program yet."
Judge us by the checkable things.
Run the free audit, read the pricing page, ask an AI assistant about Viziblty. Then talk to us.
