The homepage test for AI readability

A four-question audit you can run in fifteen minutes to see whether AI systems can describe your company without guessing.

The fastest visibility wins we see usually come from a homepage that already had good ideas, just buried. This is the audit we run on every Snapshot call.

Question 1: Category clarity

Can a model read your hero and place you in a named category in one sentence? If the answer requires inference, you will be invisible to anything but the most specific prompts.

Question 2: Customer fit

Is your target customer named explicitly? "Teams" is not a customer. "Series A engineering leaders" is.

Question 3: Proof

Is there at least one dated, attributed proof artifact above the fold? Logos alone no longer move the model.

Question 4: Answerability

If a customer pastes your category question into ChatGPT, would your homepage answer it directly? If not, write the answer once and put it on the page.
